PRIVACY POLICY

Welcome to Temple Run Legends (the “Game”).

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data (defined below) we collect in connection with the Game on Apple Arcade, how we use and share that data, and your choices concerning our data practices. This policy applies only to information we collect via the Game.

DATA CONTROLLER

We are Imangi Studios, LLC and we make Temple Run Legends. Imangi is based at Imangi Studios, LLC, 4601 Six Forks Rd, Suite 121, Raleigh, NC, USA 27609. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

Information You Provide: If you contact us directly, we will receive and process any information that you choose to include in your communication to us (for example, if you reach out to us via email in connection with this privacy notice).

Automatically Collected Information: Automatically Collected Information: When you interact with the Game, we may receive certain automatically collected gameplay data. This data is anonymized, meaning it isn’t linked to you or any other identifiable person. We don’t receive any personal data through the Game. This gameplay data is opt-in, and players can decline. Underage players will not get any prompt and are automatically opted out from any data collection.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device and in Apple iCloud: Information relating to your progress through the Game is stored locally on your device and also in Apple iCloud. This enables you to continue your game where you last stopped playing. Information relating the achievements and leaderboards is stored on your device and sent to Game Center on Apple iCloud. Your device name data is collected through the game and stored by Apple in your personal iCloud account. We do not process or have access to any of this data.

Third-Party Information Collection Through the Services: Some features of the Game are served by third parties (“Third-Party Services”). When you use the Game, certain third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device.

These Third-Party Services process your information for the purpose of providing the relevant services related to the Game such as game access, analytics, cloud services and support ticketing.

The personal data that we receive from Third-Party Services are covered by this privacy policy, while their processing of your information is covered by their privacy policy. Please see the list of Third-Party Services below.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

We use your personal data to:

  • provide you with customer support.
  • respond to you when you contact us.
  • support, maintain and improve the internal operations of the Game.
  • comply with legal obligations and legal process and to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or other third parties.

SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

We do not sell personal data.

In certain circumstances we may share personal data with the following categories of third parties:

  • Vendors and Services Providers: To assist us in meeting business operations needs and to perform certain services and functions, including providers of helpdesk services, analytics services, cloud services, and other information technology services providers.
  • Business Transfers: To our subsidiaries and affiliates or to counterparties in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale or transition of service to another provider.
  • Legal Requirements: If required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a court order, regulatory request or other legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend our rights or property, or (iii) prevent fraud.
  • Enforcing our Rights: To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.
  • Necessary for Purpose: We may disclose your information as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which you provided it.
  • With Your Consent: We may disclose your information with your consent.

WHERE, HOW AND HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION

We store all personal data securely in the US using third-party vendors who implement industry standard security measures.

We keep your information only for the length of time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected. Where applicable laws require us to store information for a longer period, we will keep it for the period required by law. When it is no longer necessary or required for us to retain your data, we will delete it.

In accordance with Apple's requirements for Apple Arcade games, Personal Data will be automatically deleted after a 24-month inactivity period.

Cross-border Data Transfers: By using the Game, you authorize us to receive, process, transfer, and store your information in and to the United States, as applicable. Where cross-border transfers of data are necessary, we will take reasonable steps to safeguard the privacy of your personal data. These steps may include implementing standard contractual clauses where recognized by law, obtaining your consent, or other lawful means of transferring personal data.

DATA SECURITY

Taking into account the nature, scope, context and purpose of the processing, we have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect such data.

CHILDREN

Protecting the privacy of children is of the utmost importance to us and we do our best to meet both EU and U.S. standards. The game has been designed to be suitable for use by those age 9 and older. If you or the adult who created your Game Center ID set your age to “underage” then no personal data will be collected when you play the Game. To change this, speak with the adult who controls your Game Center ID.

Imangi does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16. If we learn we have collected or received personal data from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has provided personal data to Imangi without verified parental consent, please contact us and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases. This in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.

YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

You have certain rights regarding your personal data, described below.

  • The right to update or correct your information: You may ask us to change or correct your personal data in our possession.
  • The right to request deletion of your personal data:
    • You may ask us to delete your personal data. Please note however that under applicable laws, certain types of data are not required to be deleted.
  • The right to access - You may request Imangi provide you with copies of your personal data.
  • The right to restrict processing - You may request that Imangi restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to data portability - You may request that Imangi transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
  • The right to know. You may request to know whether Imangi collected, sold, shared, or disclosed about you including specific pieces of personal data the business collected.
  • The right to limit sensitive personal data use and disclosures to specifically permitted purposes.
  • Freedom from discrimination.

The Game and our business may change from time to time. As a result we may change this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do we will post an updated version on this page, unless another type of notice is required by the applicable law. By continuing to use our Game or providing us with personal data after we have posted an updated Privacy Policy, or notified you by other means if applicable, you consent to the revised Privacy Policy and practices described in it.
